Virtù One Partners — Austin, Texas

Two people. One business.

We are two business school graduates looking to acquire and run an established company — not flip it, not fund it, but step in as long-term operators. If you are ready for your next chapter, we are here to provide a seamless transition that honors what you've built.

Tell Us About Your Business How we work
Our Belief

There are a lot of buyers out there. Most of them are looking for a deal. We're looking for a business worth running — and we're prepared to be patient until we find it.

How We Work

01
One deal, full attention

We're not managing a portfolio. When we find the right business, we're all in — one company, two operators, full focus. You won't be handed off to an associate or managed from a distance.

02
We tell you what we think

We won't waste your time and we won't string you along. If the numbers work and the fit is right, we'll move fast and say so. If it's not the right match, we'll tell you that too — clearly, and without games.

03
Buying to operate, not to exit

We don't have a fund with a five-year clock. We're buying a business to run it — for a long time. That changes how we think about price, structure, people, and everything that happens after close.

Who We Are

Tyler Bumpass
Operating Partner

Tyler comes from operations. He built his career at Robert Madden Industries running programs, managing teams, and learning how a real business functions from the inside. He can walk into a company and immediately understand what's working, what isn't, and what's worth protecting.

Mary Waddill
Strategic Partner

Mary ran compliance at Whole Foods Market — which means she knows how to manage complexity, hold process together at scale, and make sure the details that matter actually get handled. She'll remember your employees' names before the ink is dry.

What a Deal With Us Actually Looks Like

A fair price based on real numbers

We do not rely on arbitrary formulas or aggressive negotiation tactics. We invest the time to truly understand the operational reality of your business, presenting a fair, defensible valuation built on transparent data.

A transition that works for you

We'll work around your timeline, not ours. If you need six months, we'll plan for six months. If you want to stay involved for a year, we're open to that conversation. This is your exit — it should feel like one.

Your people stay

We're not coming in to cut headcount. The employees who built this business with you are the reason it's worth buying. Our plan is to earn their trust the same way you did — by showing up and doing the work.

We close what we start

We have financing in place and we know how to execute. When we put a letter of intent in front of you, we mean it. We've done the preparation so that when the right deal comes along, we're not scrambling.
